https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8679
Summary Incorrect rendering of text in Bugzilla diffs
Daniele Metilli
Reported 2006-05-01 06:27:42 PDT
Follow these steps: 1 - Go to http://bugzilla.opendarwin.org/attachment.cgi?id=7264&action=diff 3 - Move the mouse pointer over the text with the green background. 4 - The text moves. This happens with TOT (r14126) and also with the last stable version of Safari. Firefox displays the text correctly.

Created attachment 8084 [details] Test case I attached a reduction of the related page. Mouse over the text to see the bug. This bug (collapsing lines on mouseover) doesn't happen every time for me, both in the original page and in the test case, so if you can't see it, close the window and try again.

In shipping Safari, the test case renders w/o the extra line spacing to begin with, and doesn't change on hover, so I think this is a regression (and I suspect the fix for bug 8333).

(In reply to comment #2) > (and I suspect the fix for bug 8333). I was wrong. It has nothing to do with that bug.

FWIW, I can reproduce the problem with the reduced test case when using stock 10.4.5 Safari.
