Created attachment 115647 [details] repro Animated GIF should work; animated SVG does. There might be a different invalidation path which I'm not catching. Attaching a testcase. <rdar://problem/10459905>

All browsers are different in this test case: > Safari 17.4.1 renders 'green' filter container with globes animating. > Chrome Canary 125 renders similar but no animation. > Firefox Nightly 125 renders nothing for this test case.
