While going through Blink's commit, I came across following Optimization and I haven't checked whether we can leverage on this or we don't need it but just wanted to raise this bug for the discussion purposes:

These image decoders are code not used by Apple ports. Still could be valuable to improve the code for the benefit of other WebKit ports.
