Description Ahmad Saleem 2022-11-06 14:20:01 PST
Hi Team,

I came across following website page, if loaded from iOS device, it crashes reliably and tested on:

-> iPhone SE 2020 (iOS 16.1)
-> iPhone 13 Pro Max (iOS 16.1) - Private Mode

Link - https://be-fibre.co.uk/

Load and then click on "Enter your postcode.." input field and it will splash to show new loading screen and then it would crash showing error occured.

I haven't tried it on iOS 16.2 beta etc.

It works fine on desktop browser.

Thanks!

Hi Ahmad. Could you use Feedback Assistant to file a report for this, so that we can get crash logs? Thanks!

Simon - I just tried it with iOS 16.2 on iPhone XS Max (broken one) and the website does not crash.

Should I close this bug or it is still something good to investigate? Thanks!

It would be nice to confirm that this was a known and fixed issue, but probably not worth keeping an open bug if this doesn't reproduce any more.

It may be be possible to fetch crash logs more directly; there is a number of ways to do this, just search the web for "iOS crash log".

It seems that the bug is back after updating to iOS 16.2 Public Preview 2. :-(

I submitted crash logs, video recording and screenshot now.

FB11775950 - seems to say that it is fixed.

Plus I am not able to reproduce this anymore. So marking this as 'RESOLVED WORKSFORME'.
