It seems some WebP images can't be opened correctly on Safari on macOS and iOS. Please see the attached file as an example.

I saw bug 219977 is probably related, but most of the images there work properly, while the latest one in that bug does not. I guess it would probably be good to open a new bug given the original work has been resolved and the original testcases in that bug are working correctly.

I'm on the wrong OS to test right now, but this is very likely a dupe of Bug 235316 (fixed in macOS Ventura/iOS 16).

This image looks the same in Safari on macOS Ventura as it does in Chrome.
