Steps:
* Run the app
* Type “this doesn’t”
* Press Cmd+Shift+Left Arrow to select from after that text to the beginning
* Wait a second or two for the autocorrect/autoformat that changes the apostrophe to a quote

Result:
The selection is collapsed and the caret is after the quote.
