In iOS14, translate movement in the same direction cannot be excessive after the transition attribute is modified.

You can use the iOS14 to open this demo. When you click the next button twice, you will find that it cannot be overworked normally.

This shows different behavior between iOS 13.6 and an iOS 14 beta. I can see the iOS 14 beta change in STP 112 but not a ToT Safari build, so this may be a regression that was addressed recently.
