Description Ali Baykal 2020-06-04 07:15:30 PDT
Webkit Version: r262530

Steps to reproduce:
- Open example on https://jsbin.com/yiwiwagoge
- Navigate to the bottom of the form
- Click on the link "Datenschutzhinweise"
- Observe that it opens a new page
- Go back to the form
- Send the form (click on "Absenden")
- Check the "Datenschutzhinweise" link in the DOM and observe that the href attribute is now empty

Expected behaviour:
- The href attribute should not be empty, it should reference the same page as before sending the form

Notes:
- I could only observe this behaviour on Safari. I also tried Firefox and Chrome.
- The behaviour only occurs when the form is embedded in an iframe. If the form is opened outside without an iframe it works as expected.

The notes above lead me to the conclusion that this must be an issue related to Webkit. If our product (the form code) was faulty it would show the same behaviour outside the iframe. And since it works with the other two browsers, it can also not be caused by a security/sandboxing feature related to the use of iframes.

Best regards,
Ali Baykal
