3D photo on Facebook with blue artifacts

I got a shattered image covered in weird blue artifacts in Safari. It was on a 3D photo on Facebook. Please see the attached screenshot. It usually appears after waking up my mac from sleep with GPU in high performance mode (with wither power supply or external monitor attached).

I have been experiencing similar issues specifically in Chrome, yet today I observed the same issue in Safari as well.

Can you attach the photo and/or give some details about it; like the image size and whether there is a filter applied to it nor not?

Not sure what you mean by "filter". You can check it out yourself. The issue appears if I open the following facebook post. It's the one from the screenshot.

The issue appears at the same time as the mentioned chromium#1068170 - with graphics set to high performance, which in my case is when I have my 4k display plugged in.

Please, is anyone working on this? Just asking, since the graphics related issues are just awful.

- this & possibly related https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=1068170 - I can turn off HW acceleration to fix it in chrome, but I can not do that for other electron apps so it still affects for example WhatsApp

- https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/JBR-2474 seems to occur under the same circumstances and it also happens while GPU switching & waking up from sleep - the same as this issue

Apple engineers indicated to me via email that this was an OS-level issue, and that a fix is forthcoming.
