* Steps to reproduce

1. go to https://gmail.com
2. enter credentials and log in

* Expected outcome

The animation showing an envelope runs smoothly

* Actual outcome

The animation is really sluggish

I'm closing this because in 2.28.2 the animation runs smoothly.
