Description sven 2020-03-10 04:57:03 PDT
I have a page which will play video automatically, but Safari will throw a error: 'Unhandled Promise Rejection: AbortError: The operation was aborted', I know Safari restricts on video play, but video plays on ios13

https://zhidao.baidu.com/question/1674951949108994147.html

This is the page, click on image will play first video, scroll down to next video, on ios13, next video will play, but on ios12.4.1, it will throw error which I have mentioned above.

Could someone tell me how this happened, why there is a difference.

Safari won't allow video to autoplay when video is not muted, but in my case, user has interacted with DOM, swipe to next video.

Per your report, this works correctly on current shiping iOS. I understand that you are looking for a workaround for older version.
