The intent is for the image to scale to its new size. It transitions position, but not size.

Also see https://simple-set-demos.glitch.me/7-expanding-image-ratio/, which is a variation of the demo. It also doesn't look right, but I'm not sure if it's for the same reason, or for different bugs.
