Safari 15.6.1 rendering

STP 156 rendering
Screenshots show that the placeholder is slightly lower on STP 156, compared to Safari 15.6.1. The issue appears to be caused by the use of unicode characters within curly brackets.
In this case: \u{1F50D}
Unicode without curly brackets does not trigger the bug.
@Alan - With your recent line height fix, will this be fixed as well? (In reply to Ahmad Saleem from comment #6) > @Alan - With your recent line height fix, will this be fixed as well? Probably not as this is about the placeholder content while my fix was targeting the actual input content. |
