Animation with glitches and no white dot

App UI have a white dot at the end. it is not showing.
Tested this on latest iOS on iPhone 13 Mini
Video attached.
to reproduce this issue go to https://openspeedtest.com
it's working fine on Safari on my Mac.
Comment 1 Alexey Proskuryakov 2022-09-29 09:19:55 PDT
Comparing to what I see on my phone, the missing circle is during the test, not the three-dot animation before an after. It should be at the end of the segment that shows current speed.

I cannot reproduce with iOS 16.1 beta on iPhone 14 Pro. Could you please try with the beta OS?

But also, the webpage looks somewhat different, notably there aren't ads in the attached video, and there are two for me.

Yes, tested using https://apps.apple.com/in/app/openspeedtest-server/id1579499874

But this issue is showing on website too.

I wil post an update after giving another try on beta.

What I see matches the new attachments - the dot is now present, but a short horizontal line appears at times. Testing on iOS, iPhone 14 Pro.

but now I tested this on my Intel MacBook pro, I can't see same effects. So this is ARM specific issue? and Not a Safari BUG?

Using Safari Technology Preview 160 or Safari 16.2? Also macOS 13 or 12?
Comment 16 OpenSpeedTest.com 2023-01-02 18:00:38 PST
Yes,

Tested (No Issues found on Intel Mac)

Safari Technology Preview
Release 160 (Safari 16.4, WebKit 18615.1.14.3)

MacOS 13.1 (22C65)

2.5 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7

No issues, But I can see this issue on iPhone and M1 Mac.

I think SVG Rendering Issue is ARM Specific.

So it is reproducible on M1 Mac with Safari Technology Preview 160. Interesting!

There was another bug about some rendering glitches with SVG which I think this is a duplicate of.
Comment 21 Simon Fraser (smfr) 2023-01-17 10:44:16 PST
Probably a dup of 248003.
Comment 22 OpenSpeedTest.com 2023-01-28 19:06:44 PST
I can't find this behavior after MacOS 13.2 (22D49).
Not tested iOS.
