Screenshot of WebKit blog and scrollbar thumb

The WebKit blog has a customized scrollbar thumb which has the same (or nearly the same) background color as the blog itself, and only a thin border. This makes it very hard to see the thumb's position when scrolling through long articles. See attached screenshot from Safari 15.4 (the thumb is about one inch down from the tab bar on the right side).

My suggested solution is to use the default scrollbar style, which should be accessible in all user agents.

This is because the page has a dark background color (so we choose a light scrollbar) but most of the page is taken up with elements with a white background.
