Created attachment 460713 [details] Screenshot of Safari Mac This happens in Safari 15.5 on both iOS 15.5 and macOS 12.4. Steps to reproduce: 1. Load https://www.apple.com/apple-events/ 2. Watch the WWDC keynote 3. Press the picture-in-picture button 4. Load https://webkit.org in the same tab (the video then stops) 5. Press the back button Results: On iPhone, disembodied audio starts playing, but no video or video controls are visible anywhere. On Mac, there are video controls but no video (see attached screenshot). If I press the pause button (which ought to be the play button), disembodied audio starts playing but no video. Pressing the PiP button again does show the PiP player.
