Created attachment 460363 [details] Screencast showing visual artifacts on web.whatsapp.com In WhatsApp Web, when zooming in and out of an image using the website's media viewer, visual artifacts are left on the screen as shown in the screencast attached. The visual artifacts are rectangular bars containing parts of the image being inspected. This behaviour cannot be reproduced in other browsers on the same operating system. How to reproduce: 1. Open a browser using WebKitGTK 2. Visit web.whatsapp.com 3. Send/ receive a photo 4. Inspect the photo by clicking on it 5. Click on the photo again to zoom in 6. Click on the photo again to zoom out 7. Observe the rectangular bars of visual artifacts Hardware: Intel i7-9700/ Intel UHD Graphics 630 OS: Gnome 42.2, Wayland, Fedora Silverblue 36.20220617.0 Software: Gnome Web 42.2, WebKitGTK 2.36.3
