Video of the bug while it's happening.

Not sure if I provided the correct version. User Agent provided by the console: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_15_7) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/101.0.4951.54 Safari/537.36

I'm only reporting this bug here because although this bug happened recently in Brave Browser, it also happened another couple times, a while ago, in Google Chrome, and all of them on this Mac.

Occasionally, while using the Browser on a regular basis, its rendering just gets messed up. Suddenly, all text from all sites disappear, many elements lose their styles, images stop working, some elements get a green background. Even the browser's interface falls victim (tabs, bookmarks, inspector etc.). However, videos continue playing.

I could not find how to replicate this bug, i didn't identify what triggers it, and it happens very rarely, but today, it decided to happen twice in less than a hour. It probably happened around 6 times in this Mac in a timespan of 4~5 years.

In some occasions, the bug happens all of a sudden, and all at once. But sometimes, it happens as you interact with the browser (e.g.: the tabs are fine until I hover it with the cursor; an image is fine until you hover on it).

Restarting the Browser fixes the problem.

I've included a video capture of the bug.

This is just another video of the bug, not related to the previous video.

Despite the UA string, Chrome (nor Brave) has used WebKit since 2013. You probably want the Chromium bug tracker: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/.
