libwebkit2gtk-4.0-37:amd64 2.34.4-1~deb11u1 from Debian bullseye Using MiniBrowser (also reproducible with Epiphany), go to a rich web like htts://twitter.com Start scrolling down the web page. Eventually, the page won't scroll any more. However, it is clear that the pointer is reacting to the content of the screen and also he bottom hint with the destination URLs when passing on top of links. If clicking on some of the links, the location bar also reacts and it genuinely seems like we are navigating to the new URL, but no update happens in the screen. If we type a new URL in the location bar, like https://www.igalia.com, this time, the WebView gets refreshed with the new destination. This is easily reproducible and with different webs.

I'm experiencing something similar with Chromium too so it may be not WebKit specific. Still trying to figure out the proper component if I need to migrate this bug ...

This is clearly something that is happening beyond WKGTK. I still don't know which is the faulty piece and whether this an upstream or distro bug but I can close this as INVALID by now.
