Visual comparison between monospace Blink/WebKit space rendering.

Safari/WebKit doesn't fall back to another font from a monospace font for uncommon space characters, i.e. there's only regular space, zero-width space, and a (wide) ideographic space. See attachment for the difference between Chrome/Blink and Safari/WebKit.
