If you need confirmation (or testing afterwards) with this one, in my case my code asks for "video/webm;codecs=vp9", or even only "video/webm", what I get is actually an MP4 container with AVC/AAC encoded video/audio. As Diego said it would desirable to use vp9 codec for encoding. Here is an example: https://codepen.io/marcosdg3/pen/xxVMaQY This specifies using the mimeType: "video/webm;codecs=vp9" and will output the type used after recording.
