Open the attached test case. A similar test case can be found in https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/radial-gradient.

Results: There are gray areas when transitioning to or from the transparent color. Compare reddening the test case in other browsers with WebKit.

Maybe.

bug 150940 and https://wpt.fyi/results/css/css-images/gradients-with-transparent.html?run_id=488890002&run_id=483120004&run_id=505970001 are about linear gradient with transparent colors. But this bug is about radial gradient.

I am not able to reproduce this bug in Safari 16.3, WebKit ToT (261811@main) and it is matched with Chrome Canary 113 and Firefox Nightly 113 and does not have any grey areas to or from the transparent color.
