But the TLDW is : Changing the playback speed through Youtube's UI does not result in any change of speed.

I'm unsure if this is related to GStreamer.

(The [STABLE] tag is used for bugs where you've verified the issue is fixed in trunk and only applies to the stable branch.)

This should be fixed when 2.28.1 is released.
